DESCRIPTION:Join Blackpackers as we work to make a difference in our community! \nBlackpackers adopted the Sand Creek Trail in SouthEast Colorado Springs in 2022 and we have committed to doing our part to keep it clean\, well managed\, and inviting for anyone that wants to enjoy it! \nWe have some NEW details to note: \nFind us (usually) on the 3rd Sunday of each month with some NEW DETAILS:\nOur meeting time is now from 9:30am-12pm starting at our NEW Meetup Location at the Stompin’ Groundz parking lot\, also shown with the address and map below. \nIn addition to the new time and location to meet\, we want to extend a thank you to each of our volunteers by offering one (na) beverage to each of our volunteers from Stompin’ Groundz after our clean up each month. \nAll volunteers are welcome (registration required) and supplies will be provided!\n(Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes and bring water so you feel your best) \nEmail admin@coblackpackers.com with questions and fill out the typeform below in order to volunteer with Blackpackers.

DESCRIPTION:Join Blackpackers on Sunday\, September 29th for a beautiful moderate level hike\n  \nMeeting at the parking lot for Ute Valley Park at 9am\, our Program Manager\, Samir\, will take you on a 3.7mi hike that boasts beautiful mountain views\, sure to reflect the beautiful Autumn colors that Colorado provides. There is minimal elevation gain of 416 ft and takes roughly 1.5 hrs to complete the loop. \nRecent reviews of the Ute Valley Park Loop Trail in Colorado Springs note that conditions are well-maintained\, though some parts are rocky\, requiring careful navigation. Hikers recommend bringing trekking poles for stability. \nTypical September conditions in the area are warm and dry\, with limited shade on the trail\, which may lead to hot hikes.\nOverall\, it offers beautiful views and is ideal for hiking. \nRegistration for this hike is required to participate with Blackpackers – Please complete our typeform below with interest\, and a member of our team will reach out to complete your registration process.
