Join Blackpackers on Sunday, September 29th for a beautiful moderate level hike

 

Meeting at the parking lot for Ute Valley Park at 9am, our Program Manager, Samir, will take you on a 3.7mi hike that boasts beautiful mountain views, sure to reflect the beautiful Autumn colors that Colorado provides. There is minimal elevation gain of 416 ft and takes roughly 1.5 hrs to complete the loop.

Recent reviews of the Ute Valley Park Loop Trail in Colorado Springs note that conditions are well-maintained, though some parts are rocky, requiring careful navigation. Hikers recommend bringing trekking poles for stability.

Typical September conditions in the area are warm and dry, with limited shade on the trail, which may lead to hot hikes.
